      Printed and published by J. B. Bell and J. de Camp, at the office of the National Register , 1807 - FIRST EDITION, pages (4), 36, with half-title, 8vo, recent wrapper : a very good copy. Elgin, importer of the Elgin marbles, was returning home with his wife when they were detained in France. By Talleyrand's favour he was enabled to send his wife to England in the care of Fergusson, to whom he had confided all his confidential business : on the pair arriving in London they proceeded to live togather.
