Mary, Princess of Orange (1631 - 1660) Daughter of Charles I and Henrietta Maria; 1641 married William II, Prince of Orange. She was the mother of William III of England. She is set in an emblematic oval frame decorated with putti and surmounted by a coat of arms. This is one from a series of ten 'Comites Nassoviae (Princes of Nassau)' published in Haarlem. A very fine portrait after Gerard van Honthorst (1590 - 1656).
