      1823 (MINIATURE BOOK). HISTORY OF THE BIBLE. Troy [NY]: Printed & Published by W. & J. Disturnell, 1823. 2" by 1 1/4" (5x3.2 cm). 16 wood or type- metal cuts with captions. Full brown leather with 'Bible' and modest decoration gilt-stamped to spine. Contemporary ink inscription on front pastedown and a birth notice on rear pastedown. Binding is lightly rubbed at edges, with some offset staining to lower board. Text is clean; and although it is trimmed close on a few pages, it is unaffected and complete. (Adomeit A51).
