Dual column text. Tear on bottom of pp.504-505 (65mm) neatly sealed. Occasional spot of foxing but overall a clean copy. Bound in modern quarter calf with gilt stamped spine. Contains a selection of correspondences by Philip Melancthon (1497-1560) the famous Reformation theologian. Included also are epistles by Thomas More and Juan Luis Vives.
