Venetiis, in Aedibus aldi et Andreaz Asulani Soceri [Aldus, Aldine], 1528. Very Good Binding Octavo bound in later full vellum with title and date stamped in black on the spine; all page edges are stained red; title page is a nice and tasteful 20th century laid paper facsimile; collated against the printer's register and believed complete though there are two areas worth noting: 1) preliminary signature "*" has only 7 leaves, "*" is signed i-iiii, leaves *5-7 are unsigned; the recto of *6 is last page of a contents of "Virgilii Versus a Macrobio" and concludes with "finis, " verso is blank, *7 is blank, both recto and verso; 2) last gathering is only three leaves (two leaves signed "R" and "R ii, " the verso of "R ii" is the colophon and register, last leaf unsigned, the recto is blank and the verso bears the Aldine anchor; binding is quite tight; early faint marginalia and underlining scattered throughout, not heavy; contents are largely clean with some staining to the preliminary and terminal pages, not affecting readability; a nice copy all in all; digital images available upon request;
