Tractatus de Officio is a treatise about the law concerning papal legates, but it contains a great deal of general information relevant to other kinds of ambassadors. This seems to have been a well-regarded work. It had a second edition in 1572 and was included in the important multi-volume anthology Tractatus Universi Juris (1684-86). OCLC locates 1 copy of this edition in North America (at Harvard Law School), 3 copies of the second edition (At Harvard Law School, the Library of Congress and UC-Berkeley Law School). Another first edition located at GWU Law School. Censimento Nazionale delle Edizioni Italiane del XVI Secolo (EDIT16) CNCE 20342. [Attributes: First Edition; Hard Cover]
