Modern 1/2 blue morocco over cloth boards, spine gilt; t.p. laminated with losses at edges; dampstains, worming mostly marginal until at end (18+) leaves it causes some text losses, repairs of holes caused by worming and marginal supports; some tears unrepaired [20]1 with two long tears; some old pen marks; last leaf has coner loss (with text loss).. Square 8vo.. Woodcut t.p.with three lion head printer's device, architectural surround with the tablets of the law at top and figures at side; head-pieces. Very rare separate section of the Old Testament in Hebrew. Despite its medicore condition, it is a very scarce example of this printer's work.(See Amram p375 for his relationship to the Vendramin-Bragadini press). Instituto Centrale Per Il Catalogo Unico, Biblia, 1737 finds Vol. 1 pt 3 (only), 1640 at the Biblioteca Anelica. Not found in Cowley, Zedner, Steinschneider, Vinograd, Le Long, BL 17th Italian, D & M, OCLC, RLIN, KVK.
