Stacy-Judd, Robert
ATLANTIS - MOTHER OF EMPIRES.
- first ed, large quarto, publ's imitation leather binding, XXIX+336pp, one of 1500 numbered copies, numerous plates in half-tone printed on matte stock, one plate folding, pages printed on high quality laid paper, a fine copy except that the spine lettering is faded, pages bright and clean. Stacy-Judd was among other things a respected architect who was the first to introduce Mayan motifs into architectural design. A few of his buildings can still be seen today in Los Angeles. Manly P. Hall's influence on Stacy-Judd is obvious. There were at least two reprints of this large volume, smaller in format and without the special reproduction of the plates in sepia, and without the folding plate on thin paper. Most copies found on the net are damaged due to the large size. [Attributes: Hard Cover]
