(? ) binding, stiff boards with quarter vellum over marbled paper (ex-library label on front pastedown dated 1878). Binding rubbed and a bit soiled, title page with repairs to paper at top and bottom and a small tear in the middle of the leaf, f. 312 also has a small (7 cm) closed tear (no loss to text), uniform darkening and small stains to occasional leaves; despite these faults, a good, solidly bound copy.
