      Anton Koberger, 1488. Very Good 4to-over 9¾"-12" tall. Single lincunabula eaf measureing 12 1/2" x 8 (image area)/ A bit of foxing, small marginal mark from tape. Lovely leaf from Koberger's edition of The Golden Legend, with hand painted woodcut of Christ on the cross. Koberger established his press in 1470 and was the godfather of Durer and printer of the Nuremburg Chronicle five years later, in 1493.
