      Imprinted at London by Thomas Vautroullier dwelling in the Black small folio, later half leather, cloth boards, joints split, red morocco label lettered gilt to spine, all missing before title which has been trimmed and pasted to full size blank, dedication to the Countess of Lyncolne, the translator to the reader, minor water stain to bottom right corner, small amount of marginal loss to upper right of first few pages, not affecting text, marginal repairs to dedication, again not affecting text, pp 191-202 replaced by relevant number of blanks. The body of the text in black letter. Annexed to the main work is 'The Lives, The Ends, and the Martyrdomes of the Prophetes, apostles, and seventye disciples of our Saviour, written in Greeke, by Dorotheus, Bishop of Tyrus, nowe translated by M.H. (Meredith Hanmer), with its own title page. Bound with this volume is 'A Chronographie continued from the birth of Christ....vnto the twelf yeare of the raygne of Mauricius..' with its own title page and separate pagination, dated 1576, some marginal loss to upper corner of last few pages, not affecting text. Some marginal scribbling to final blank and index margins, index water staining, lacks last 6pp of index, 538pp, 56pp & [12] index.
