      London: Cadell & Davies 1807 - Fine large-format HB, an old book in a recent superb rebind of brown marbled boards, half bound in brown leather. 5 raised bands on spine with gilt motifs in panels and gilt title on red leather panel. Silk headbands, all edges marbled. New endpapers of laid paper. 593pp plus errata and numerous plates. Many plates are fold-outs: engravings, architectural drawings and floor-plans of great Cheshire buildings, some of which no longer exist. Occasional faint foxing, but the type is bright and clear abd book in excellent condition in its handsome binding. [Attributes: Hard Cover]
