Among the earliest, if not the first tract ( see Smith ) devoted solely to veterinary cures for all kinds for farm and domesticated animals. The title woodcut illustrates several quadrapeds; the woodcut in the book illustrates a bird in a cage in front of some beehives. The individual animals, their respective illnesses and cures are fully indexed in the contents. The colophon states the books was printed on Oct. 17, 1530.
