First edition of Simler's very scarce treatise on the Greek language - "Observationes de arte grammatica" - which has added to it the "Erotemata" by Guarino (i.e., Veronese, 1374-1460), adapted from the Erotemata of E. Chrysoloras. #11; Provenance: The Duke of Sussex copy, with his bookplate.
