      Roma, presso Ferdinando Mori, 1821 Comprising printed title-page and 20 numbered engraved plates of ornament, folio, contemporary unlettered half calf : light signs of marginal foxing, but still very good. The originals for this series of purely classical ornament were executed in 1535 and here in these very fine bold engravings show little evidence of 19c `interpretation' except in the human figures. NUC, but quoting Giovanni Scudellari in the imprint, notes three copies (NN, ViU and TxU).
