Première édition de cette version du Sepher ha-Moladot, ornée d'un titre avec encadrement et 15 figures astrologiques gravées, comprises dans le texte. L'auteur de ce traité d'astrologie est le mathématicien, philosophe, poète, astronome juif espagnol Abraham Ibn Ezra, (né en 1090 à Tulède, en Navarre et mort en 1165 à Calahorra), un des plus éminents érudits de l'Age d'Or espagnol, source d'inspiration pour Spinoza. L'éditeur de l'ouvrage, le médecin et mathématicien allemand, Johannes Dryander (1500-1560), venait de publier, à la même enseigne, son grand traité d'anatomie illustré. "Sepeher ha-Moladot was considered by Ibn Ezra as one of is most central astrological works, as may be learned from the many references to it from within the other parts of Ibn Ezra's scientific corpus.
