Rosenbach, or Johannes Von Hagen] (ca.1467-1537) from Hain near Darmstadt, "was an extremely learned man in many fields, and at one time acted as an ambassador to the Pope, though it appears that he had many sympathies with the revolutionary theories of the day..." Gettings p177. His work, first published in 1522, had a great effect on the study of chiromancy and is quoted to our own day.
