This encyclopaedia of higher education has been designed as a manual which takes a look at the rigmarole of higher education in the present century. Higher education has became a major area of thrust in education prompting the proliferation of many universities and colleges enabling many to pursue education beyond school. Vocational institutes also opened up equipping those unable to pursue traditional degrees with the knowledge and skills which can be highly beneficial for the commercial era. With education becoming a rallying point for politicians higher education has also gained a lot of attention and involvement and often seen as a key to further progress of a society.
