      New York ND Oblong 4to. Unpaginated. Gold-stamped soft leather protected by modern mylar. Pages held in place by black string tied around small metal-cleats in rear of catalog, as issued. Printed announcement by the company in gold lettering on inside of front board. Rare catalog illustrated with hundreds of colorful marble and stone specimens (mostly full-page) offered by the Tompkins-Kiel Marble Company, all printed on linen-backed leaves. Specimens with creative names such as Madre Veined Alabama, Jaune Nile Veine, Monte Aurato, Fantastico Viola, Tom-Kiel Emerald Curley Green, Opaline Granite, Breche Orientale, Morocco Red Flammè, Darosa Veine, Premier Byzantin, etc. Few images printed on glossy paper. At the time this catalog was offered the company had branches in New York City, San Francisco, Chicago, Knoxville, New Orleans and Sylacauga, Alabama. Minor rubbing on binding. "1515" in white handwritten near tail of spine. Verso of few plates with stamp "Printed in France." Linen frayed on edges of some pages. Small abrasions on inside of back board. Overall very good condition. Scarce.
