Dow, George Francis

Every Day Life in the Massachusetts Bay Colony

Boston: The Society for the Preservation of New England Antiquities, 1935, Boston - Half Cloth. Limited Edition 40/100. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. xii, 293p. + 106 illustrations on [91] unnumbered plates. A near fine copy with some small and unimportant blemishes: the top of the spine is very slightly bumped, the corners of the front cover are very slightly rubbed, and the former owner's signature is on the blank following the front free endpaper, no d.j. This is copy of 40 of 100 printed on Bruce Rogers 100% rag paper at The Wayside Press in Topsfield, Massachusetts. The covers are covered with a very attractive patterned paper and the endpapers are beautifully marbled. A very presentable copy of a notable and noble book. [Attributes: Hard Cover]
