Jeannel, R. (Ed.)
Mission Scientifique de l'Omo II-VII
Paris, Museum Nationale d'Histoire Naturelle, 1935-1952. Six parts in eight. 8vo. Text with numerous plates and figs. Original printed wrappers. *Important ichthyological, herpetological and (mainly) entomological contribution to southern Ethiopia. It contains, for instance the Coleoptera by R. Jeannel, Pic, Horn, Paulian and others; Diptera by E. Seguy; Lepidoptera by Le Cerf; Orthoptera by Uvarov, Chopard, and reptiles and amphibians by Roux. Deals also with mammals, crustaceans, etc. Fascicule number 62 is used three times, one being an error for 61 (both are on Coleoptera), the other deals with Hydracarina. This seems to be last part published. Volume I describes the geology, paleontology and anthropology, thus the Zoology, as far as we know, is complete. A good set in original wrappers, mostly uncut, unopened.
