      large quarto (slightly taller than 29 cm.), [15] (beginning with title), [465], [1] (Registro) leaves (there are printer's numbering errors including the last leaf which is misnumbered as 464 but a complete copy), numerous small woodcut illustrations with architectural borders, the title and registro have different vignette printer's devices; library hand stamps and markings, title strengthened with a strip paper on verso of fore edge, registro has a chip neatly repaired at lower fore edge distant from letters, minor pinhole worming at upper outside corner of first few leaves with no letters touched, general age toning and light age staining but sound and entirely readable copy in modern black buckram; text and illustrations follow the 1570 first Italian edition but some of the cuts light or not as clear, presumably from wear on the block [Publisher: In Venetia Nella stamperia della Luna,]
