Paper uniformly browned but strong and supple. On the titlepage and throughout the text some passages are written in a mixture of upper and lower case letters seemingly selected at random, the upper case being Roman numerals apparently to be read as a coded message (eg. saCeLLano aVLICo CoLonIensI). *History in verse of the 1680-6 Cologne (Koln) rebellion led by Nikolaus Gülich, noting parallels in world events at that time and the history of earlier unrest in the city.
