Woodcut initials throughout, with hand-painted initials at the beginnings of the books. 18th century hald leather, paper boards, gilt title. Leather worn at edges, but hinges fine. Ownership bookplates and names on endpapers, and in contemporary hands on title page. Light soil on title page; one page with closed marginal tear, extending in the text, early repaired with archival tape; another page with a burn mark obliterating a portion of text and with an early paper repair.
