Later vellum, red edges, blue silk bookmarks. FRESH COPY OF THE RARE TRUE FIRST EDITION, printed between 16.03 and 29.04.1782: Max Brun edition "A" (originale), distinguished by, amongst other points, the table of errata, that does not occur in other editions or counterfeits dated 1782. The famous novel by Choderlos de Laclos obtained such a success that no less than 16 different versions are published the same year, some official, some counterfeited.
