Out of this variety, Me2PbEt2 , Me3PbH, and Et3PbH have been investigated more extensively. A compound in which a R3Pb moiety interacts with a side-on bonded acetylene group constitutes a new type with five carbon - lead bonds and thus has gained some attention.
