Last leaf is [mis]numbered 223. Leaves 186-195 are omitted from foliation. This is the reissue noted in OCLC, with 64 leaves inserted after leaf 115 introducing new material. Leaf p5 (f117) appears to be missing. Collation is a-u8, x-z8, A-C8, D4; inserted leaves are A11, B-G8, H6. The inserted leaves comprise Books 5,6,7, and 8 of the 12 total books. Title page has a fine woodcut of two birds of prey holding 2 circles, 1 blank and 1 within which are the words of the title. Some ornamental initials have been inserted; in other instances space has been left for them. Contemporary blindstamped pigskin with clasps, spine cracked and a few pages loose. The work is an exegesis of the Book of John, translated from the Greek into Latin. A standard of Catholic Orthodoxy by the author most famed for opposing the Nestorian heresy.
