Girolamo Righettini, Trevigi (Treviso) 1642 - Language: Italian. Teatro del Cielo e della Terra (in English "Theater of the Sky and the Earth"), was the first work of Gioseppe (or Giuseppe) Rosaccio (1530-1621). The book brings up issues such as earthquakes, the center of the earth, the partitions of the world, the sphere etc., with woodcut maps, smal illustrations and decorations. Black ink mark to title page. Ink illustrations of miniature hands pointing at text to margins of pp.26-27, 74; ink stains to p.49 (0.5"), 119-20, passes-through to 2 next pp. with damage to text). Black ink short lines to margin of p.58, addition of continuance to map-lines over the gutters on maps at pp.66-7, 80-1, with very precise overwriting of names (pp. 66, 80, 87, 92-3, 104-5) with ink marks passing-through to other sides of paper.
