      Erhard Ratdolt, Venice 1485 - 4to (20 x 16 cm), 98 unnumbered leaves, signed aa-ll8, mm10. Numerous woodcut astronomical/astrological diagrams and charts, and elaborately decorated initials. "Libellus" printed in Roman type, "Commentary" of Joannes de Saxonia in Gothic type. Two conjugate leaves (ee 3 and 7) are supplied in convincing old facsimile. Otherwise complete with all illustrations and large initials present. Late 15th/early 16th-century full calf binding (with a later - 19th-c? - rebacking in calf), metal trim with engraved ornamentation around edges, two working clasps. Binding slightly rubbed, yet solid with hinges intact. Occasional light marginal browning, stronger browning or foxing to four leaves in "hh" signature. SOme soiling to first and last leaves; small marginal hole in top outer corner of aa1, small abrasion to blank potion of mm10, tiny marginal wormhole to several leaves, with no loss of text in any case.
