      Probably Bernardinus Venetus, Venice 1501 - Quarto, old calf rebacked preserving original backstrip, minor soiling, few light stains, quite decent. Graesse VI 210, identifies the printer and place, and makes particular mention of the Scipio Ferrari annotations, whch are the best scholarly notes of all the early editions. Brunet IV, 519-520 does likewise, noting that "le commentateur Ferrarius fait preuve d' une surete de critique bien rare." Reichling 67; Goff P 352 ; not in the British Museum Catalogue.
