Sancta Ella (Rodericus de)

Oratio in Die Parasceve Anno Domini Mcccclxxvii

Stephen Plannck, Rome - Octavo, disbound into folder, few minor spots, nice 1481-1487. Goff's Census indicates American copies of the first edition are located only at Harvard and Chicago. Goff locates copies of this second edition printed between 1481 and 1487 on the West coast (Huntington only), with the University of Illinois and Southern Methodist University copies between coasts, and the remaining few copies distributed between Washington, D.C. and New Haven. It would appear that several major collections of incunabula have no text whatsoever of this work by the eminent Spanish prelate Roderigo de Santaella. Hain-Copinger 13931; Goff S 124.
