This copy until recently was in the personal collection of Black Sparrow Press publisher John Martin, who retained this copy since publication. Fine clean copy in a fine slipcase. Black Sparrow Press was founded in 1966 by John Martin in Los Angeles, California to publish the works of avant-garde authors. Martin published Charles Bukowski, John Fante, Paul Bowles, and dozens of other writers.
