      Parisiis, apud Christianum wechelum sub scuto Basiliensi in vico Iacobaeo & sub Pegaso in vico Bellovacensi, 1545, (facs. XXe siecle). gr. in-4°, 4 p. bl. + 44 p., illustre de 19 gravures sur bois a pleine page, marque de l'editeur sur le titre et la derniere page + 4 p. bl., grandes marges, 1 exlibris heraldique grave 'Bibliotheque du Chateau de Valencay, reliure en cuir a nerfs, plats richement ornes d'une composition florale en or et de mosaiques de trois couleurs, tranches dorees (imitation d'une reliure a la cire du XVIe siecle).. Belle edition fac-similee de l'ouvrage inspire de l'ouvrage fameux d'Andre Vesale, illustre de 19 grandes gravures dont 9 montrent la dissection du crane humain.Cf. Garrison-Morton 373.1, edition en allemand de Strasbourg 1541: "This plagiarism of Vesalius's "Tabulae anatomicae sex" ... represents the artist's only contribution to medical illustration. The woodcuts include the best illustrations of brain dissection techniques published before Vesalius's "Fabrica". Herrlinger in "Geschichte der medizinischen Abbildung" über "'Plagiate' an Vesal": "Man kann auch ein (freilich fragwürdiges) Lob darin sehen, plagiiert zu werden; wo immer aber der Plagiator durch seinen eigenen Gedanken über das Vorbild hinausführt (wie im Falle des Strassburger Wundarztes Walter Ryff), da ist er eben kein 'Plagiator' mehr."
