In Ten Volumes with the Corrections and Illustrations of Various Commentators; to which are added Notes by Samuel Johnson and George Steevens. 15 x 23 cm Hardback Second Edition. , the books are in good condition, lacking some title and volume labels, volume one has old back strip professionally re-laid on new spine, rubbing to gilt on spine, volume 3 has a small 3cm oil stain on front cover, front joint on vol 4 partly split, several volume's shoulders are slightly worn, some corners bruised, some minor foxing, nice and clean internally, a nice looking set in very good condition , Full cross hatched calf binding, with 5 raised bands, gilt designs in compartments, red title and volume labels, gilt ruled boarders and small gilt designs on back and cover, inner gilt dentelles, all edges marbled, ribbon markers
