      Lyon, Seb. Gryphius, 1536. Sm.8vo. Contemp. vellum. With woodcut printer's device on title, and variant device on verso of last leaf, and some fine woodcut initials with cherubs. (28), 643 (1) pp. Well produced scholarly edition of Cicero's letters, with the comments by Erasmus and others, based on the Venice edition by Aldus Manutius, including Aldus' original preface dated 1513. The book is finely printed in a small Italic type, with captions in Roman type. Fine copy.- (Small shelf-labels on inside frontcover).
