AMSTERDAM c. 1642 - 47 - (1650). A COMPLETE SET OF 9 MAPS OF SCANDINAVIA PUBLISHED BEFORE "ATLAS MAJOR". THE MAPS ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH WIDE MARGINS AND ARE FINELY COLOURED BY A CONTEMPORARY HAND, THE TITLE PAGE ALSO HEIGHTENED WITH GOLD. The Scandinavian part of the atlas "Tooneel des Aerdrycx" published in a few editions until c. 1650. The title page belongs to the 1650 edition, and the maps seem to belong to Koeman Bl.26A + B, 1642 and Koeman Bl. 29A, 1647.
