Large octavo (20 x 26 cm). xlviii+268pp. In the Original publisher's black cloth, gilt magic square to upper, gilt tiltes to spine between three sets of double rules, fore and bottom edges untrimmed, white endpapers. With the rare additional illustrated title page (by Moina Mathers), decorative initials and numerous magical squares to book three. Some wear to extremities, a small tear to top of spine, otherwise clean externally with the gilt bright and sharp. Apart from a some spotting to the front endpapers, the pages are clean and fresh without writing, underlining or other marks. An excellent copy of a classic text of ceremonial magic, translated by a founding member of the Golden Dawn, in original binding and with the rare title page.
